Susan's Story, European Adventure, 2022

One of the hardest to reach things on our Georgia adventure was the Khertvisi fortress high on a hill overlooking a river valley once traversed by Alexander the Great's army on their way north west toward India. This is high in the Caucuses within sight of the Russian border on the gureling Georgia Military Highway. This church was remarkable as it was active during Persian, Mogul, Mongul, Ottoman, and Soviet times. Moving beyond belief!!! /susan
