Grandpa's Bookcase, October 27, 2022
After the civil war my great great grandfather tried to become a furniture maker. It was hard on him especially since he had lost a leg in the war. He made two pieces of furniture and this was one of them. My father and mother were married in front of this bookcase in the Barrow House in Bowdon, Georgia. No one knows what happened to the other piece of furniture. /hugh
