New River Gorge, September 8, 2021

I have not done much kayaking since the Covid pandemic started. It was a real test to get on the New River gorge in West Virginia today with Karen, Paul, and Kevin at 1ft 1" on the gage we saw. It would be all of our first trip down since this became a national park last year. I actually rolled twice in Lower Keeney. Can't wait to see what the Gauley River holds for us tomorrow!!! /hugh
