Broken Arm, 4/3/2019
While writing my dirt bike at Lake Houser Off-road Park and descending a steep rutted hill I went over the handlebars and the bike flipped over on top of me and I broke my right wrist. I had to walk out of the woods to a house, get a ride to where I parked my car, and luckily there were some helpful guys with ATVs who were able to go retrieve my motorcycle and put it on my trailer for me. After about six hours from the time of injury I drove home, cleaned up, and went to Spartanburg Regional Heathcare District emergency room. I have a fracture of my right radius and a slight avulsion fracture of my ulna. I had a splint on for about a week and now have a blue cast. I had a checkup today (April 18, 2019) and got a good report by Dr. Sanchez. Just missing out on kayaking and motorcycle riding! /hugh
