While Hugh was riding the Taieri River Gorge Railway I journeyed by eight-wheeler off road vehicle to the end of the pennensula near Dunedin to the breeding grounds of the Albatros that they share with fur seals, yellow eyed penguins, and blue penguins. Interestingly, since the infared aiming LED's of our cameras can scare the penguins, we were not able to get good pictures of this truly marvelous area. /susanClick a photo to view or click first photo to see a slide show.
